Every last detail was meticulously arranged, from the transportation to & from NYC, the organized activities and tours, the fabulous goodie bags, the hotel, meals, to the exclusive fashion show itself.

We even had time to traipse around the city. The event organizer also gave us tips on shopping hot spots that we wouldn’t want to miss! I can’t wait to do it again.

I just had lunch with a new friend, Jill. I met her in the closing moments of the fall SITC fashion trip to New York. The weekend had food, fun, fashion...but the best part was opening the chance, weeks after the trip, to get to know Jill.

Jill has owned and built and sold many businesses...but we talked about so much besides business. And as we gathered up our things to go, Jill said these magic words: "This was wonderful. When are we having lunch next month?"

I have a new friend. That is a gift beyond price; a prize beyond prized. I think there will be plenty of good conversations that matter -- about business and beyond -- in our future. This would never have happened if I hadn’t gone with Success in the City to New York. And if that was the only good thing that came out of my entire last year as a member of SITC, that alone it would have been worth it.
